This is the premise: "People born and conceived on an alien worlds have alien souls - the souls of the creatures that live there, or once lived there, or will live there in the future, or would live there. If you are concieved in one place and born in another, you have two souls, one from each place, and thus a conflicted nature. Outer space doesn't give you a soul at all."

If you wish to participate in this meme, write me at least a microfic (that is, a very short story) and at most a short story (in the middle, a scene from a theoretical longer work), in this setting, using the premise. You can interpret the premise in any way you choose, adding any elements you like.
