Feets, Don't Fail Me Now!
Jul. 13th, 2007 03:18 pmI just got back from the podiatrist's office!
The bad: custom insoles - even with Kaiser paying their part of the cost - will still set me back more than $200 for the first pair and then $100 dollars for each subsequent pair; the surgery to fix my legs will probably be many expensive and painful surgeries involving a hospital stay and several months of crutches and casts.
The good: thank God in heaven, there is something I can do. I can't afford it right now (in time or money), but there is something I can do. I can have a surgery. I can be FIXED.
Also, hunting for a new job sucks, but I really need and deserve more than $10 an hour.
Last night we played the first session of our Warcraft RPG. It was fun. I'm not a huge fan of d20, but I enjoy my character, and so far I enjoy everyone else's characters. I'm looking forwards to more of it. Now, if only we could manage to actually meet for Nobilis...
